The blindness of hypocrisy

Why is it we are able to see other's faults and errors and not our own. Or, how are we able to so easily ignore our defects of character yet condemn other's defects.
  • I believe a spiritual blindness has fallen upon us all, and some of us are willfully cover our eyes. Why do we think the "Church" as the SDA organization is going to make it through to the end, yet admit it is in apostasy? What evidence had God given us that He shakes the tares out of the organization and moves on with it?
  • All throughout the history of the Church we see that the Church is not made up of those who take on the Church's name, or becomes part of it's organization, no no, we see the opposite. The Israelites were shaken, yet to our eyes it looked as though God's True followers got kicked out of the Church or left it. Yet in God's eyes those people stuck to the foundation of Truth and were the True Church. Later they fell into apostasy and became the Roman Catholic Church. And the Reformers seemed to be kicked out of the Church, or leaving the Church. Not in God's eyes. The organization, by falling into apostasy and kicking out the True believers, were kicking themselves out of God's True Church.
  • When God shakes His Church those who are tares and just chaft kick themselves out of God's True Church by revealing their characters, and their love for the world and sin over God. So even though they may be in the original organization of the True Church, and the wheat has left, they have been shaken out of God's True Church.
  • Elijah lived out by a stream by himself instead of being among the apostate Jews. Jesus Himself had an independent from the "Church" Ministry, the Organization was constantly on Him to conform to their "authority".
  • Wake up my Seventh-Day Adventist brethren, it is passed midnight and we have to be ready today.

Are you ready to face judgment?

Our lives are a test from God. We go through the toughest environment and worst possible conditions to develop what is in our hearts. We are created by no choice of our own, so by our thoughts, words, and actions in this life we choice between eternal life with God our Gracious Creator, or eternal death.
And in the end it works out for best, for all of us.
For if we choice eternal death that is exactly what would give us peace, for we would not enjoy the company of our Holy Creator, and enjoy His creation. We would want all the attention, want all the land, want all the riches, want to be God Himself. And since we can not have this, or live in any sin we would hate the purity of Heaven and be begging to be destroyed. God is merciful and loving, He does not want us to suffer, yet does not want to force us to exist and be with Him either, so death is what will bring peace to us, the universe, and all of heaven.
Yet if we choose life then we have given up sin, lawlessness, materialism, self-exaltation, and straight up selfishness/self-centered-ness. And not only does this benefit ourselves and how we are designed, (Being made in the image and likeness of God Himself)  it benefits all of the heavenly Beings/Angels, and pleases our Loving and Gracious God. For one soul is of eternal worth, for one soul would have eternity to spend with God and His creation, unless they reject the Light, Truth, and Love that God has shown them in their lives here on earth.

Making an effort to do the impossible

Why is it we don't understand the simple straight forward teachings of Jesus Christ? He tells us to come on to Him and yoke up with Him, yet we either sit back and think He will drag us to heaven, or we run off alone thinking we can do it ourselves and that Jesus only pointed the way???
To yoke up with someone is to team up and cooperate with that person. Such as the picture above illustrates, we must work together with Jesus for our own salvation, Philippians 2:12-14, James 2:20, Jude 24 & 25.
We can not possibly make it to heaven on our own, we do not have the strength, will, or love that it takes. We will fail utterly. And this is why many people do not make an effort at all, they rely on Grace and Grace alone. Yet Grace frees us from our sin and gives us the Divine Nature that we may continue in sinlessness in this life. For when we put forth an effort we have shown we have made a choice to accept Jesus, and we have faith that He is going to be with us when we make every step. God will not let us down, He will be glorified in our Trust in Him, and it will lead others to His matchless Love.

Ye shall know them by their fruits

So many people confess Jesus as their Lord and saviour yet produce both good and bad fruit, how are we to tell who is on the Lord's side? Satan is to come as an angel of light, and his ministers appear as from the light as well, what are we to do?
We need to spend some time to read over and think on these subjects to get those answers.

The fruit to look for is obedience to the Law of God.
Matthew 7:15-27
"15Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. 16Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? 17Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 18A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 19Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 20Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
21Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
24Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 25And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. 26And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: 27And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it."

Jesus is our example that we should base our lives on

When I was converted to Christianity I had an amazing personal experience with Jesus Christ. Yet I did not know what was going on in the Christian world, I did not know where to go. So I decided I ought to read the Bible and find out the Truth for my self then make a choice from there. And what I have come to find out is that the Christian world is so divided because everyone's eyes are not fixed on Jesus. We have our eyes fixed on the Church, on a Pastor/Priest or Pastors/Priests, on our Mom and Dad, on our spouse, or on our friend(s). We are not prayerfully getting into our Bibles and searching out the Truth for ourselves.
We can study hard for money, but not for our souls or the souls of our loved ones. We put all our trust in man, and man made organizations. Yet man and everything he sets up will fail. Besides we are not saved by our relationship with a Church, Leader, Family member, Spouse, or Friend but by our PERSONAL relationship with God Himself.
